(Check out Andy Sterkowitz on YT, he speaks glowingly of the book too - ) So I attacked from all angles by buying a course on Udemy (Angela Yu's), and sourcing the best resources on YT (like Web Dev Simplified, Dev Ed, Freecodecamp, Net Ninja etc.), and by buying a book.Īfter researching, I discovered the Head First JS book was one of the most popular, well received books out there. I was also conscious that I learn in various ways, be that visually or reading or listening. I was aware of the many courses out there on places like Udemy, Skillshare etc., and the abundance of free material on YouTube. In August 2020 I decided to learn web development as a complete beginner having literally never written a line of code. I physically own this book, I can see it right now sat at my desk, so think I'm in a fair position to comment.
